OBJECTIVE 4.00 Communicate the Design Process
Ok Students, and all those following our new school blog....here is a good example of a 3D Sketching tool.
Hopefully we will try this out in class! However, you can download the free version at this website at home. There is ALSO a site where you can watch videos to see if you will like it. The videos show you how to use this FREE product at Google. So check out this site!!!

Also you can check out the blog, with cool competitions on 3D modeling...such as a bridge building competition and more. Check out this site.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING THAT YOU LIKE LEAVE SOME COMMENTS (click comments below) on this blog about what you discovered or thought was cool for the class. We will read it online.
Hope you can try this out and bring back some reports on what you were able to design online.
DESIGN A DESK or A CHAIR
When you see the videos, you might want to check out the video about designing a chair. Would it be possible to design our 21st century desk using this software? Remember our ideas for a new desk?(see other blogposts on this site.)
PATENTS and INVENTING!
ALSO if you are REALLY the inventor type...then look up Google Patents online, and use this program to search desks that have been patented. Do you have an idea that could be patented? Check out all the things that have been made. See how they draw United States Patents. The United States Patent and Trademark Office require that their drawings be drawing with a certain kind of drawing style that might look old-fashioned. Anyway, hope you have fun with the drawing stuff!
Thanks
Mr. White
